ADA Specific Options
We offer a Hill Hiker® ADA lift system application type that is available for residential and commercial settings and can be built with standard or heavy-duty construction. Designed to meet the requirements of ADA and wheelchair passengers, we bring our expertise and perfect safety record to the table so we meet or exceed code standards for the elevator, escalator and conveyance industry set by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
Our ADA car size options include 25 square feet of interior floor space and 36-inch door openings to meet ADA specific requirements for wheelchair accommodation. Additionally, each car comes with self-closing gates as well as ADA non-slip grate flooring to prevent slip hazards. This car option can also fit up to ten non-wheelchair passengers which can prove to be especially beneficial in commercial settings.
