In addition, Hill Hiker meets and/or exceeds all National Elevator Safety Codes, as listed in the ASME A17.1-CSA B44 2010 Edition.
One of the biggest benefits of our systems is that they are great for handicap accessibility. Our systems meet or exceed all ADA requirements based on the application, making us recognized by the ADA as being ADA Compliant.
We are also proud to be UL electronic testing approved.

- One of only several (less than four total) approved in Wisconsin, Oregon, Michigan (hardest regulated state in the U.S.), San Francisco, and the City of Los Angeles (hardest regulated city in the U.S.).
Having all the correct permits is a very important part of the job to us, so we work with customers and contractors when needed to submit and gain approval of the necessarypermits for the job. That commitment to quality helped us obtain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau! 
Meeting all compliance requirements and testing standards starts with the internal practices we have in place. It’s crucial that all Hill Hiker elevator mechanics and service technicians are licensed and certified. Our strict internal practices have led to 18 years in the business with a perfect safety record and lifts legally installed in some of the strictest states and cities!
