Each successful brand has something that makes them special, that sets them apart from their competitors. Usually those ingredients to success are kept a secret—Dr. Pepper’s 23 flavors or Colonel Sanders 11 herbs and spices—but we’re just going to tell you our recipe for the highest quality hillside lift systems. It all comes from our inclined elevator manufacturing process, a process we’ve refined over 18 years and have broken down for you.
-Components and Materials Ordered:
Hill Hiker® uses only the highest quality components and materials. After the pre-construction process is finished, we are able to order components and materials for the Hill Hiker® Hillside Lift System. Those materials include high quality raw materials such as standard or stainless steel sheets and tubing for building our cars and rail. Top-notch, American-made motors and gearboxes and electronic components such as wireless controls, limit switches and motor drives.
-Custom Fabrication:
Every Hill Hiker® is custom designed and manufactured to the specific characteristics of each customer’s unique needs. Our in-house capabilities are what allow us to have such customization options for our product. Capabilities like sheet metal cutting, bending and shearing help us to save costs as well. In-house capabilities are no good unless you have the skilled technicians to make the most of them, and we certainly do. Our shop technicians take pride in their craft.
-High Grade Finish:
Every Hill Hiker® receives a high grade finish for looks and weather protection. To make sure all of our systems look top notch and operate for many years in the harshest weather environments, we send them to receive a fresh coat of high-grade powder paint and/or galvanization to prevent rusting.
-Certified Electronics:
Hill Hiker® uses only the best and most reliable electrical components designed specifically for outdoor use and safety. One of the most essential parts of a Hill Hiker® Hillside Lift System is the electronic package. It is built by our partner, a UL qualified and licensed box shop, to ensure the utmost quality and functioning is present.
-Components Assembled:
At this point in the process, the components for the Hill Hiker® Hillside Lift System can now be assembled. These components include the car, chassis, motor and gearbox. The Hill Hiker® Hillside Lift System finally takes shape and looks just like the dream system you envisioned.
-Quality Control:
Every Hill Hiker® must pass quality control and safety inspection before it leaves our facility. We put the system through strict quality control tests and in-house inspections. Now the system is ready to be shipped and installed by a Hill Hiker® Certified Installation crew.
The process might look simple when we write it down, but a lot of care goes into each component and stage of the process. We place so much attention on our process to ensure our clients receive a product they are pleased with. After all, there’s no substitute for the quality that a Hill Hiker® Hillside Lift System provides.
