Elevating Safety During COVID-19

By April 14, 2020May 27th, 2020Press Release

Hill Hiker, Inc. COVID-19 Response Update:

At Hill Hiker, Inc. safety is and has always been our #1 priority—whether the safety of our clients with the design of our product or the safety of our employees as they fabricate and install our custom made-in-Minnesota inclined elevator lift systems.

During these unique and hard times, we have made some changes to keep both our customers and employees safe. Because we have inclined elevators at critical locations such as power utility facilities, apartment buildings, and many handicap access lifts across the country we are considered an essential business according to the Department of Homeland Security.

Our office is open with employees working from home when possible. Our manufacturing facility has remained open operating with a reduced crew to provide parts as needed and to keep production of new systems moving. Our install crew is working on local service and install projects around the Twin Cities area while practicing social distancing and avoiding contact with other contractors and customers.

As soon as travel restrictions are lifted and it is safe to venture further away from our base of operations in Minnesota we look forward to catching up on our out of town installs and service work. If you have any questions about our operations during COVID-19 please contact us for more information.
